100 Haikus in 100 Days

So 2010 arrives, having not cast off much of the old year: taxes, laws, threats from foreign powers, legislators and series of unfortunate events seemed to forget that there was a gate on January 1.

How do I cope this week in a store with frozen water, frozen sewer, and replacing an entire furnace? (Mind you I'm a neat freak, so no water is a big issue!).

Haiku to the Rescue!

For humor and pose, I have been challenged to write 100 Haiku in 100 days. Join me if you will, to describe an event, feeling, or conversation of the day in 17 syllables on three lines, 5-7-5.

Here is today's:

The heat duct went out
Repairmen to the rescue, whew
Warmth in the feed store.
